What if the item I receive is damaged or faulty.

We endeavour to ensure that all our products that we sell are of the highest quality. Because our pieces are made by hand, every one of our products are original and unique, and is likely to bare intricate marks and distinctions. Our process promotes these distinctions, and while no two Banjarans products are the same, we assure you that each piece is made using the same careful process and craft. These distinctions and marks are not considered flaws, but are the result of your product being made by hand.
However if you feel that the product sent to you is faulty or damaged, please email us at customercare@banjarans.com so we can urgently review the matter for you.

How do I request a return.

Requesting a return is really easy! Simply email customercare@banjarans.com so we can action this for you. (Please note that we are unable to refund initial shipping charges for goods returned, other than for faulty items. We are also unable to refund return postage costs.)

Once the items have been received, you will either receive your new item (for exchanges) or full refund (excluding original shipping cost). Banjarans cannot be held liable for the loss of items being returned. We recommend using a registered post service to return goods, and keeping a record of the tracking details.

What is your returns policy.

Banjarans will happily accept returns and exchanges on all of our products. The item/s must be in original condition with all tags remaining in place. Item/s must not have been worn, washed or altered in any way. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns that do not meet these requirements. Banjarans offers a full refund or an exchange on items. All returns can be sent to our Returns Warehouse based in Victoria, Australia.

How can I track my order.

When your order is shipped, we send you an email containing a tracking number. If you did not receive this tracking number please email customercare@banjarans.com

When will my order arrive.

We usually deliver within 3 – 5 days within Australia. International shipping may take longer due to custom clearance. For a better estimation, use your tracking number provided.

How much does delivery cost.

We offer free delivery on all orders within Australia above $75. It is a flat rate of $10 on all orders under $75 within Australia.

Is it safe to purchase online.

Yes, it is very safe. The payment process is protected by industry standard encryption so that we can ensure that no one can intercept your credit card details. You are fully protected while buying on line at Banjarans. Our online payment gateway is Eway and we also use PayPal. The payment process is protected by industry standard 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption between the customer’s browser and the Banjarans site, and again between the Banjarans site and the payment gateway. This prevents transaction information from being intercepted as it travels between the respective servers/computers. Customer credit card details are collected at each order, and are never stored on the web server in any format. This eliminates the risk of customers’ financial information being accessed by any third-party.

Are your products eco-friendly.

At Banjarans, we take a holistic approach to design, always ensuring that our products are friendly to the earth and environment. We don’t believe in factories of mass production that focus on repetition and economies of scale. Our sandals, jewellery and cushions are made by hand, without the use of modern machinery, using methods that have been passed down through the generations.
We are endowed with a strong connection to nature, and in sourcing products that are made by hand, we support artisan industries that produce sustainable products, made with the highest quality materials.

Are the makers of your products fairly paid.

We only choose suppliers who have the same vision and values that we do. We support artisans in rural areas where job opportunities are limited. Without support, many families of artisans move to the city slums to try and find work, where the poverty cycle is hard to break out of. We partner with organisations that support these artisans to ensure their skill and art are kept alive, by providing them employment, training, health care and education. They are fairly paid and are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. We are passionate about the training and education of women and ensure that our suppliers share these same values.
